The Minimum Wage Deliberation Committee has decided to adjust the minimum wage effective 1 January 2026. The monthly minimum wage will be adjusted from TWD 28,590 to TWD 29,500 (approx. 3.18% increase). The hourly minimum wage will be adjusted from TWD 190 to TWD 196. This adjustment proposal will be submitted by the Ministry of Labor to the Executive Yuan for ratification and official promulgation before taking effect.
