Taiwan’s Minimum Wage Deliberation Committee has approved an increase in the minimum wage to be effective 1 January 2027. Upon approval by the Executive Yuan, the minimum wage in Taiwan will be adjusted from TWD29,500 to TWD30,900 (c. USD 970) per month – an increase of 4.75%. The hourly minimum wage will be adjusted from TWD196 to TWD205 (c. USD 6.44).
