Virginia Yuan

Virginia Yuan practices intellectual property law. Before joining Winkler Partners, Virginia advised a number of well-known Taiwanese technology firms on strategies for their global trademark protection programs. She based her advice on knowledge of her clients’ businesses, gleaned from participating in their internal discussions on trademark branding and packaging design. She has helped her clients obtain trademark registrations in many jurisdictions, including the United States, Canada, the European Union, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Japan, and China. In a complex patent dispute case in Germany, Virginia retained and instructed German counsel on behalf of the Taiwanese corporate defendant.

Virgina is a graduate of Soochow University’s School of Law in Taiwan, and also holds an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Houston’s Law Center. She is admitted to practice in New York. Virginia speaks English and Mandarin Chinese.
