Karen Liu

With a specialization in intellectual property protection and dispute resolution for over 10 years, Karen Liu has successfully helped many major domestic and foreign companies safeguard their trademark and patent rights in jurisdictions including Taiwan, China, U.S.A., the European Union, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore. Prior to joining Winkler Partners in October 2020, Karen worked at one of the largest firms in Taiwan, handling intellectual property cases.

Karen is certified by the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office and the Taiwan Intellectual Property Training Academy in Trademark Maintenance and Application, Trademark Application Management, Patent Technology Engineering, Patent Process Management, and Patent Search Analysis and Value-added Application. Karen also passed Taiwan’s Senior Patent Attorney Examination in 2020.

Karen received her Bachelors in Life Science from National Taiwan Normal University, and was a graduate student at the School of Law, National Chiao Tung University. She speaks Mandarin Chinese and English.
