Helen Chen

Helen has practiced law since 2011 and in 2020 joined Winkler Partners. Her practice focuses on helping clients protect their intellectual property rights, assisting them with dispute resolution, reviewing commercial contracts, assessing insurance coverage, providing legal compliance advice on advertising and other matters, and advising on contentious and non-contentious civil and criminal law matters.

Prior to joining Winkler Partners, Helen worked at a well-known maritime law firm in Taiwan, specializing in litigation related to maritime law, insurance, international trade. She has extensive experience in litigation, as well as handling high-value and large-scale claims that intersect across multiple lawsuits simultaneously. She is savvy at developing litigation strategies to navigate the intricacies of legal matters, effectively defending clients and resolving disputes.

Helen has won numerous landmark intellectual property cases across various levels of Taiwan’s courts while at Winkler Partners. She has assisted various world-famous film and television companies in combating online piracy, including successfully taking down some of Taiwan’s largest piracy sites and protecting clients’ copyrights. She has earned clients’ trust with her logical thinking and analytical skills, as she consistently delivers comprehensive and clear analyses on legal compliance issues.

Helen graduated from National Taipei University College of Law and is a member of the Taipei Bar Association. She speaks Mandarin, English and Taiwanese.
