George Bobyk
George joined Winkler Partners as a paralegal in 2023, working alongside the firm’s corporate, intellectual property, employment, and dispute resolution teams.
Before joining the firm, George worked at the British Embassy in Beijing and as a freelance translator after moving to Taiwan. George is passionate about promoting Taiwan’s cultural and creative industries. He has translated museum exhibitions, historical articles, and Taiwan comics for organizations including the National Palace Museum, the Taiwan Hakka Culture Development Center, Routledge, and TAICCA.
George holds a bachelor’s degree in law from BPP University, a master’s degree in Human Rights Law from University College London, a master’s degree in China Studies from Zhejiang University, and a master’s degree in History from National Taiwan University. George speaks English and has professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
