Oliver Wu

Oliver Wu worked at Winkler Partners’ translation department for over 9 years before resigning to pursue his academic interests. He rejoined the firm in July 2018. His extensive legal and commercial translation experience includes the fields of laws and regulations, contracts, corporate documents, legal case and court documents, notarial certificates, and many others. He also has the experience of translating (English to Chinese) an international convention as well as U.S. and U.K. securities and financial services laws.

Oliver graduated in 1996 from National Chengchi University with a B.A. in Public Finance; in 2004 from Fu Jen Catholic University; and in 2016 from National Taiwan Normal University with an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Translation Studies. He has participated in an academic research project and held an academic post. He speaks Mandarin Chinese and English, has a reading knowledge of several other languages, and is a lover of language learning.
